T12/70

The THETFORD T12/70 is a heavy duty; high performance compactor designed for medium to high tonnage transfer stations with throughput, of upwards of 250 tonnes per day.  It can be used with 27 to 30 cubic metres full rear door containers for transport by hook type vehicles.  It can also be used with high capacity – 50 cubic metre trailers operating on multiaxle units.  The T12/70 will achieve maximum payloads with both of the above systems.  The T12/70 will achieve throughputs of 40 to 50 tonnes per hour including 5 to 10 minute container changeover time assuming they are constantly fed whilst packing.  The T12/70 high thrust – 77 tonnes on normal packing – ensures high packed density and full payload.   The T12/70 has an extra high thrust – 89 tonnes – multistroke final boost cycle at the completion of container loading to form a rigid ‘wall’ for container removal.  The T12/70 is offered with a wide range of installation packages to suit all types of installations and loading methods.
